The reason these rarely cause problems with moisture concentration is because they are small components within a much larger mass of permeable material, so their effect on moisture flows is minimal. It is therefore important not to over-specify in these situations. VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS Owing to the factors discussed above, historic buildings usually need more ventilation than modern ones.
