Scenarios in this book are incidents that lead to an explosion, fire or toxic release. The scope is limited to process hazards. Natural disasters, deliberate actions (sabotage and terrorist actions), airplane impact, and other scenarios not related to process hazards are beyond the scope of a building siting evaluation. , pipe rupture) or runaway reaction that causes an explosion and loss of containment.
