Narrow calcareous sand beach inshore of ‘Anini Reef, one of the longest and widest fringing reefs in Hawai‘i at 2 miles long and 1,600 feet wide at its widest point. The beach park is midway along the beach. ‘Anini Channel, a wide sand-bottomed channel, cuts through the reef to the west of the beach park. The windsurf site, especially good for beginners, is west of the boat ramp. The snorkeling site is west of the channel.
