Much of the storage, retrieval and distribution is done by high-tech industrial robots, and machining is numerically controlled. There are also multifunction repair processes. All this technology supports and supplies the service shops which in turn support state-of-the-art avionics equipment, with sophisticated hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, and sheet metal, composite and interior structures.
