These different purposes evolve over time into what are often known as mindsets. Once an organisational mindset has taken root it is reinforced through everyday behaviour and the language used to describe organisational experiences. In simple terms a mindset is a particular way of thinking about day-to-day experience which makes it hard to understand how other perspectives could have equal or greater merit.
