Falck, General Manager of the Reading, has been received a communication to the effect that after carefully investigating conditions, it is found that there is little travel over this crossing after midnight. The line was completed from Ashley, in Gratiot County, to Carson City on September 24, 1887 and on to Muskegon, on August 1, 1888. The Stuttgart & Arkansas River, extending east and south from the Cotton Belt main line at Stuttgart, north of Pine Bluff, a distance of 35.47 miles, was incorporated on November 21, 1888.
