Indigenous Land Use Agreements are of interest in this context because they can facilitate agreements about native title without the need for native title determinations. As a result of the 1998 amendments there are now three types of Indigenous Land Use Agreements provided for under the act: • body corporate agreements: these agreements are relevant where native title determinations have been made over an entire area and there are registered native title bodies corporate in relation to the area.
